Teacher’s Permit or Site Supervisor Permit What We’re Looking For:Crystal Stairs is seeking Head Start Early Education Teachers for our education centers located in South Los Angeles & Compton.   Reporting to the Education Services Manager, Head Start Early Education Teachers ensure the highest quality education for children in our Program. Teachers, using the approved curriculum provide successful, safe, and supervised educational setting for children while they are in the Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor play area, and field trips).  Teachers promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of Head Start children.  The development of individual goals, providing of on-going assessment on progress and the facilitation of the transition into kindergarten are the key components of the job.  All candidates must meet the following requirements. Preferred experience of two (2) years (minimum) teaching experience in a pre-school/early childhood education environment.
